About Lee Brothers
The Lee Brothers are a group of highly trained and internationally reputable Masters who came from Korea to share their knowledge and training methods with their followers in America. The Lee Brothers consist of Grandmaster H.K. Lee, Grandmaster K.S. Lee, Grandmaster Jun Lee, Grandmaster Byung Lee, Grandmaster Sangho Lee, and Grandmaster Jung Ho Lee. Grandmaster H.K. Lee is a true pioneer and leader in Taekwondo who first settled in Herndon, VA in the late 1970s. He developed a highly successful academy, and his skills in teaching and performance have made him famous throughout the world of Taekwondo.
The Lee Brothers joined Grandmaster H.K. Lee in the United States on December 24th, 1986, and they have all established their academies in different cities in North Carolina since then. When the Lee Brothers first came to NC, Taekwondo was barely known throughout the state. However, the Lee Brothers put much effort and energy into promoting the art of Taekwondo to the general public. They held first-class exhibitions throughout the state, organized first-class tournaments, and brought up quality instructors and competitors. The rapid expansion of interest and participation in Taekwondo in Virginia and North Carolina is in no small way due to the work and emphasis of the Lee Brothers.
Today, most of their instructors have their own schools and are enhancing the knowledge they have learned from the Lee Brothers to their followers.
